BE ADVISED THIS IS JUST THE HOLDER!!!!!!! The way the review read, I thought this was the entire unit, INCLUDING THE CAMERA. It is not. It is just the holder for the Alpine camera. I should have known by the price, but I was playing the odds. The picture of the holder shows it with the camera in it. How are we to know it doesn’t come with the camera? I wasn’t sure whether to give it 1 star because of the deceptiveness of the review or 5 stars for the quality. It is very nice for what it is, a nice sturdy metal frame with all the mounting hardware and nice license plate lights built in.
I know Amazon is a HUGE site and they have alot of items to write product reviews on, but they need to do a little better job. I guess I have to buy the expensive Alpine camera to put in it. I imagine I’ll be happy in the long run, but am spending WAY more then I had hoped to.
