My original rubber sway bar bushings were worn out and left me with a clunk in the front end so I replaced my sway bar bushings with regular polyurethane bushings. This worked fine for a month or two before the supplied grease the polyurethane bushings comes with wears out. Then the squeaking begins. Every bump. Every dip. WD40 and other lubricants work to quiet the noise for a while but not for long so I went with greasable polyurethane bushings.
Installation is easy since the bushings are split to fit over the sway bar without removing it. I packed the bushings with grease before installing them and pumped a few shots of grease into them after installation until it oozed out the sides. Now, when I grease my front end I also grease my sway bar bushings and no more clunks or squeaks. I use the same grease I use for the front end. I know they make special grease for polyurethane bushings but I have not found any problems using a quality standard grease.
