- Float life – Conventional sealed-lead batteries vary greatly in specified standby life: from three to six years at 20oC, C/20. GENESIS, however, offer a ten-year design life at 25oC, C/5, to 80% of rated capacity.

I use the Genisis battery because of it’s light weight. I run my car in competition and it removed app. 20 lbs. from the left front.
Since my use is not what the battery is designed for it has amazed me at times, even starting in cold weather. My first battery lasted over three years and may still be usable for other purposes. For me, it is worth the money.
